Who are we and what do we do?
BFJA - who are we?
We are an association representing the various interests of the British fruit juice industry importers, manufacturers, packers and all involved in fruit juices.
Members are from the smallest to the largest companies in the industry. Our combined knowledge on issues related to the business is a great asset.
We work on behalf of members to:-
- Promote the interests of those engaged in fruit juices
- Make representations with government bodies as and when required
- Be impartial arbiters for problems raised by members
- Act in an advisory capacity to government departments and other bodies on juice issues
- Provide a focus for technical and commercial information
- Maintain strong links with other trade bodies
What else do we get up to?
We have a Committee drawn from the membership and secretariat which meets 4 times a year. There is a 'must be a there' annual symposium in June - it's a chance to catch up with friends, listen to presentations on current issues in the industry, have a great lunch and mingle.
